Kirby Grant "Sky King"
Most don't know that Mr. Grant attempted to fly, during WW II, but was denied as to his color blindness. He, instead, opted as an infantryman. Mr. Grant was an avid pilot and flew in many scenes. The below video is a Entertainment Tonight episode, 1985, filmed shortly before his death. Sky King died in a 1985 automobile accident while returning from witnessing the Space Shuttle Challenger lift-off.
